Blog Issues:
I learned today my blog software isn't providing tech service any more. We are less than a month away from the date they shut down all the sites. You have to swich over to WordPress or end it all.
I'm finished with the migration, but I still have to learn how to manage the theme, banner, columns, archives, font, bla, bla, bla.
For the last ten days, the software program won't allow uploading of new photos to illustrate the stories. That's why last week's post was all text.
An E-mail from Al Wertheimer:
I received an unexpected e-mail this week from Alfred Wertheimer, the most famous Elvis photographer and a very interesting guy. He sent me a joke. Not just me. He had a blast e-mail list of folks he shared the joke with. I'd show it here, but I can't. When I wrote back to thank him, I bugged him again about letting me write a story on his gig as a film photographer at Woodstock.
Periodically, I ask him if we can do an interview about it, and he keeps stalling me. Al was on the Woodstock staff. Talk about being in a situation with amazing opportunities for memorable events. You know Al has to have some good stories to tell. If I had gone to Woodstock, I’d have tons of stories. But, I’ll be happy just telling his someday.
